Picture this: our Gisborne photography studio, a bubbly Cavoodle named Millie, and 8-month-old Eden back for her milestone photos. What could go wrong? Absolutely nothing, it was a joyful whirlwind from start to finish.

It was extra special having little Eden back in the studio. We took her beautiful newborn photos about seven months ago, and she has grown so much since then!

Millie, our star pup for the day, is a one year old Cavoodle with boundless energy and a slightly questionable talent for catching treats (read: none). Her goofy, cross-eyed expressions as she tried to catch snacks mid-air were absolute gold. These are the moments that make our dog photography in Gisborne so memorable. It’s unscripted, hilarious, and full of life.

We even brought out the bubbles. Millie’s reaction was everything: one second she was leaping through the air trying to pop every last one, and the next she was bolting in the opposite direction like they were chasing her! You truly never know what you’ll get with dogs and babies, and that’s the magic of it.

Then there was Eden, giggling away with her tiny sunglasses on, matching Millie’s. Together, they were like a celebrity duo, stealing hearts and filling the studio with laughter. We switched to a soft pink backdrop and kept the fun going, capturing those small in-between moments that you never want to forget.
